What are the AlterEgos System Requirements? |
|
AlterEgos runs on Windows Machines only, at present there is no version for apple powered systems, we hope in the future to have a Mac version. AlterEgos has been tested on Microsoft XP and above including Vista and Vista 64. It will hapily run on a low level Pentium machine with 1gb of Ram, we are confident it may even run on lower spec machines.. if not a little slower. A sound card is necessary and also a microphone if you wish to record your own audio files. Speakers would'nt go amis so you can hear your compositions.

Can I create my own compositions and sell them? |
| |
| In a word "no". All AlterEgos generated compositions can only be used by the license holder, so you can hapily create compostions for your website, Youtube, presentations etc. If you wish to supply composistions to another party, they also must own an AlterEgo license. Please refer to the license agreement for additional information. |

Can I create my own characters? |
| |
| AlterEgo characters use a propriatory format. So it is not possible for you to create your own composisitons. We are activly building new characters every month to cover most requirements, if however you have a specific need that we do not cater for within our present offereings, please do not hesitate in contacting us to discus bespoke services. |

Can I create my own Backgrounds, Clothing or Decorators? |

| Yes, we use PNG as the format for all of our collalteral because it maintains the alpha channel (transparency) most graphic programs will allow you to create your own. All you then have to do is copy your creations into the appropriate directories and you can use them from within the software. |

Can I integrate AlterEgo compositions with other media? |
| |
| We are presently writing a number of tutorias on how you can use the power of AlterEgos to "wow" up other media such as; videos and presentations we will be publishing them in due course. FLV's and SWF can easily be integrated into Flash or Flex compositions where as the AVI can be used in many different video editing tools. |

How easy is it to integrate AlterEgos into my website? |

| When you create a standard FLV composition we supply you with a player and all of the source code (HTML) necessary to cut and paste your composition into your page, we will be publishing more tutorials covering this subject in the near future |

What has AlterEgos got to do with Flipz.tv? |
| |
| Flipz.tv was an early incarnation of the technology and was offered for free on a part-time basis, AlterEgos is a more technically advanced solutions, with higher quality characters and of course "video" and "flash" output, full support infrastructure and continual development. |

Can you do everything for me? |
| |
| Yes, we have a complete bespoking service including, character design, voice-over, backing music and full integration. If you are interested in any of these service please do not hesitate in contacting us. |

Can you do an AlterEgos character that looks like me? |

| We are presently concluding an internal solution that will enable "us" to create characters from photos. This service will be available in June. If you are interested in this service please contact us now to discus your requirements. |

I dont have a website can you host my compositions? |
| |
| We will be launching an AlterEgos hosting service in January. It is presently undergoing resilience testing. |
